Sonora’s tubular bells produce a soothing, melodic tone with outstanding resonance.
The 21 tubular bells are made from hand-tuned, heavy-duty anodized aluminium, each mounted individually over black anodized aluminium resonators, which are equally precisely tuned. Each resonator is individually capped with a polyurethane rain baffle. Finally, stainless steel security fixings deter vandalism and prevent the theft or removal of the instrument.
Sonora can be wall-mounted or affixed to posts for easy installation on any surface. The elegant design is loosely based on the Percussion Play Duo with a wave effect produced by parallel notes ascending from the centre outwards.
Its elegant shape and visual appeal make Sonora ideal for use in attractions such as museums, zoos, heritage sites, community projects, or music therapy.
